
The Moonlighters are playing at the Bellingen Autumn Plant Fair on Saturday 9 March 2024, from 9am – 2pm.
The duo crosses all genres, so be prepared for a rich blend of music styles encompassing classic songs from the great singer songwriter collection of Dylan, Van Morrison, Neil Young, James Taylor, Eric Clapton. Enjoy the soulful, locally sourced, original songs celebrating nature and community, life and love. Then, as the beat rolls on, get your feet stomping to some classic organic blues classics. The Moonlighters like to get down and dirty, soulful and smooth.
The Moonlighters are:
MARK OLIVER: A local singer songwriter and a skilled guitar player who has played on the North Coast as a regularly performing musician for 30 years. Marko’s roots are in the blues and classic rock. For the last 15 years he has been focusing on merging his lifetime of musical experience into writing songs and recording.
He released an album in 2019 “Raindrops in the Sun” A showcase of original songs, reflecting all the musical styles and lyrical influences he has absorbed through the years.

ROGER ALLEN: Roger is an experienced and crafted harmonica player whose main inspiration comes from blues and rock. He lived in Sydney for 30 years playing regularly in top bands on the Sydney scene. Having recently moved to Bellingen, he saw an opportunity to expand his range…moving into more melodic areas of expression via Marko’s original material and acoustic folk rock. His influences range from Little Walter to Paul Butterfield and Pink Floyd to The Pretenders.
